MYTHS, FABLES,
FOLKlORE, & LEGENDS

We are a storytelling culture. When we speak with others we communicate through stories. We relax through stories whether you read a book, watch television, a movie, or even play games. A lot of the stories we watch or read about today have their roots in the past.

Myths, fables, folklore, and legends are stories that cultures have passed down throughout generations. Each type a story has a different job. In this workshop I will discuss the differences and explore some popular stories. Then you will learn how to create your own myth, fable, folklore, or legend.

This workshop can be enhanced by adding a drawing aspect where you will learn how to create spot illustrations to help tell your story.
